Kelsey has loved dancing since she was a toddler and started her dance career at age 8. She is trained in ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, pointe and hip hop.

During her dance career, with hard work and dedication, she has won a ballet scholarship, she danced competitively for numerous years and has also won numerous awards with her team. She was a student assistant for many years helping with choreography. She has taken classes under well known choreographers such as Talia Favia, Robert Roldan, and Tricia Miranda just to name a few Kelsey is a senior at Winthrop University where her major is Educational Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education.

This is Kelsey’s second year with Joy Dance Academy and she has won several judges awards and top placements during last season’s competitions. She is passionate about helping her students grow and is excited to continue guiding them in the upcoming season.
